Situated at junction 4 of the M9 motorway (location map) and literally 1 minute from motorway to weighbridge Avondale Landfill is  ideally situated to accept waste travelling from the, East , West,  North or South.

Currently Avondale has Non Hazardous ,Stable Non Reactive Hazardous (SNRH), Hazardous, and Asbestos/Gypsum cells operational.

Utilising the fully lined (LandfillDirectiveCompliant) infrastructure,  all methane produced is encapsulated to produce electricity which is fed directly to the national grid.

The aim of the management at Avondale Landfill is to provide a first class facility and service to match.

Avondale Environmental Limited is a joint venture  between Landmedia Limited and Shanks Waste Management Limited
