Avondale is licensed to accept both bonded and fibrous asbestos contaminated waste.Mixed loads are accepted
Please note that under Sepa guidelines degradeable material such as wood, paper etc., should NOT be included in the asbestos waste skip/container unless it has previously been contaminated (as an example due to demolition/building collapse) or it is impossible to safely separate the asbestos from the degradable materials Please inform Avondale landfill prior to booking disposal as Sepa clearance for disposal of contaminated loads is needed.
Disposal of Asbestos Monday to Friday inclusive 07.30 - 13.00 hours, though due to engineering works this is subject to change.
Any disposal outwith these hours is strictly by prior arrangement.
Avondale Landfill operates a booking procedure to ensure there is sufficient cover for the days disposals and to ensure all customers enjoy an efficient and reliable service whilst all current health and safety guidelines are adhered to.
